Welcome To the Lily Pad!

If you are reading this post then it must mean:

a) Your child is a student in the Lily Pad this year
b) You found the link to our classroom blog
c) You are a student in the Lily Pad


It is with much excitement and anticipation that Ms. Wimmler (our student teacher) and I enter into the 2012-2013 school year.  You will have a lot of fun learning this year and will learn many new things!

You will learn many new things this year, make new friends and hopefully will have a lot of fun!  Ms. Wimmler and I have spent many long hours preparing our classroom for you!

A couple of things for you to know:

a) School begins on Tuesday, September 4.  That will be an early release day with school ending at 1:00.

b) School will let out early on Wednesday as well (1:00) but Thursday and Friday will be a regular school schedule with dismissal time at 2:32.

c) If you have your school supplies, please bring them in on Tuesday.  Please make sure you have them labeled with your name.

d) Also, you may want to bring in a water bottle to school.  It will be a warm start to the year and we want to make sure you stay hydrated.  Please make sure your water bottle has a sports cap and is "leak-proof".

e) We will have a daily snack time so if you would like a snack please bring a small, healthy snack to school.

 f) One last thing, there will be ready-set-goal schedules at school beginning Tuesday morning.  If you are dropping your child off, please sign-up for a conference.

This blog will be a large part of our classroom communication.  I will update it weekly detailing the learning we have done for the week and photos of our time together.
