Welcome to the Lily Pad and to Marquette!

Hi! I am Ms. Mack and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! You will love third grade, the Lily Pad (our room) and Marquette.  This will be a year full of new learnings, new adventures and a whole lot of F-U-N!

I am very interested to learn more about you, hear your stories and learn about your family, friends and interests.  First, I will share a bit about me:

I was born in Urban, Illinois, moved to the Washington D.C. area where I went to Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  Then, my family moved to Iowa City, Iowa were I lived for 14 years.  I went to college at the University of Iowa and went to graduate school at the University of Wisconsin, Madison...Go Badgers!  I am married to Dave and we live with 2 dogs, Faith and Hope.  I have 2 sisters, 4 nieces and nephews, 2 step-children and 6 grandchildren!  My husband and I live near the Henry Vilas Zoo and yes, I can hear the lions roaring in the morning when they are hungry for breakfast!

    Hi Ms. Mack, my name is Anne Devitt, and I am really excited to be one of your students this year. I thought I would get a different one like Ms. Hensy. My fingers were crossed that I would get you. A lot of kids say really great things about you, especially the ice cream in the gutter party that you host at the end of the year.
